Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. They include the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as well as The Cannes Film Festival.
