Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already obtained a few television appearances, for instance, the lead in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. Following her highly praised role in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. It won an Oscar and won critical acclaim. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are other Oscar nominated features featuring the divas. Alexandra has worked on several notable projects, in both the US and abroad. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historic mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. She also served on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
